Magomed Ankalaev stopped Bogdan Guskov by KO/TKO in the fifth round of the UFC Abu Dhabi main event last Saturday at Etihad Arena.

The finish came in the fifth and final round of the headliner. Guskov's loss was the last of eight stoppages on the card.

The main event was also the only fight of the night to get past the third round. Every other bout either finished inside three rounds or went to the judges after three.

Eight of the 12 fights ended inside the distance. Five ended by KO/TKO and three by submission.

Valter Walker and Axel Sola each submitted their opponents in the first round. Abdul Hussein got the third submission of the night in the third round.

Rizvan Kuniev won by KO/TKO in the third round. Sam Patterson won by KO/TKO in the second.

Ramazan Temirov beat Steve Erceg by KO/TKO in the first round. Muhammad Said beat Dustin Jacoby by KO/TKO in the second.

Four fights went to the scorecards, all unanimous decisions after three rounds. Magomed Zaynukov, Abubakar Vagaev, Magomed Tuchalov and Nurullo Aliev took those verdicts. No split decisions were scored on the card.

Ankalaev went into the main event as the FightIQ model's pick at 72%, and the model also had KO/TKO as its top method read for the fight.

The model picked 10 of the 12 winners on the card. The two it missed were Erceg and Jacoby, both among its lowest-confidence picks of the night.

A full grading of the model's card, including the fights where it called the winner and missed the finish, is published separately.
